Before a full house at the Friends and Family Restaurant in Giles County, Virginia, Bishop E.W. Jackson, Candidate for U.S. Senate, held a press conference and rebuked what he called “a judiciary out of control.” A judge, attempting to mediate a dispute over the display of the Ten Commandments in the Giles County High School, suggested that the school compromise and display only 6 of the 10 Commandments.

“What is happening here with the Ten Commandments issue is just the tip of the iceberg. This kind of trampling of religious freedom is happening all across this country. I am here to stand with you and say; No More!”

Bishop Jackson excited the crowd as he articulated for them the many reasons why this type of action by government is not only wrong but unconstitutional. Comparing the current battle for religious freedom to the civil rights movement of the 1960′s, he assured the crowd that he would support their fight whether they employed nullification, civil disobedience or raising funds to carry on the legal battle.

“If elected Senator or if I remain a private citizen, I will do everything in my power to support you, even if I have to come to Giles County and put the Ten Commandments back up myself.”

Most of the attendees were unfamiliar with Bishop Jackson. Many of them left, not only as supporters, but as committed volunteers. Also in attendance was Pastor Wilburn from Riverview Baptist Church, who has been active in support of Giles County’s right to display the Ten Commandments in their high school. Before closing, Bishop Jackson answered questions and received two standing ovations from the crowd.

The left wing media loves to report on Republicans fighting each other. The 600 or so Republican leaning voters in the room in Virginia Beach love a candidate who demonstrated what a powerful vision for the future means.

Virginia Right, declared E.W. the winner of the second debate here and included a couple of videos.

Here is the first video from the debate, E.W. Jackson’s closing statement that drew a standing ovation from the crowd.

E.W. Jackson disagrees with a number of Allen’s votes while he was a Senator. And he effectively made the case Friday night that he is the right man, at this critical time to send to the Capitol to fight for our nation and Fix Washington Now!

But that effort wasn’t served by constant attacks on Allen. And only E.W. addressed that in the debate. The video below, also from the Virginia Right, accurately encapsulates how the constant attacks played in the room in Virginia Beach.

George Allen’s mostly ignored these attacks but on the one occasion he did respond, the retort was not convincing or well stated. If he can’t effectively answer Radkte’s attacks, how effectively will he combat Tim Kaine’s?

It’s not about the past, it’s about the future. And our candidate will have to stand toe to toe with Tim Kaine and make a case for our vision of the future.

And E.W. Jackson once again demonstrated why he is the man for that job!

Video From The Debate Coming Soon. Here is a good question by question synopsis of the debate. E.W. was fantastic throughout. Jackson’s closing statement was EPIC. Here is how one blogger described it.

“Jackson – Cautions colleagues – WE CANNOT TEAR EACH OTHER APART. One of us must go up against Tim Kaine. Who is suited for the moment at hand? Who can reach blacks and Hispanics? Who can tell them we care? We must beat Kaine and Obama. They drank Kool-Aid – he did not. Jackson got a standing ovation.”

E.W. obviously feels he is a better choice than George Allen to be our next Senator. Why else would he be running? But he has a lot more to offer to primary voters than attacking Allen. And that message resonated with the people in the room. We gave out thousands of fliers to motivated volunteers who wanted to spread E.W.’s positive inspiring message.

You can help us today by

Donating to our campaign!

Spreading the word as an ambassador. We have all of the information here that you need to get the message out about E.W. Primary elections have their own rules and the rule is simple.

The rule is that motivated groups can carry the day. And no one can inspire action like E.W. We need your help today to hand out flyers, post on Facebook, attend meetings and get the word out. Now is when people are starting to pay attention. And Now is when your action matters MOST.

Not sure how to help. We have a manual here that can show you how easy it is to help.

And your generous donation can always help too….

It’s time to Fix Washington Now! Together!
